17 Months Old

Dear Braelyn and Bailey,

I wish I would have done this post each month for your entire lives for your blog scrapbook, but I guess better late than never. Yesterday was your 17 Month Birthday! I can't believe how the time has flown. I am so thankful that dada has a good job where I can stay at home and savor every minute with y'all. We laugh, tickle, dance, sing, slide, watch cartoons, eat, sleep, and play outside. Here are some of the things you are doing now:

You can front kick (of course I have already started teaching you martial arts!)
You can say: pun bob (Sponge Bob), dog dog, hi, bye bye, moo moo, dada, momma, Muh (Grammy), nana, night night, kei kei (uncle Keith), mae mae (cousin meagan), Papa, Nah (Neenah), no (of course!), slide, side (outside), sissy (Bailey's word for Braelyn), and sisser (Braelyn's word for Bailey)
You know these places on your body when I ask you to point to them: head, nose, ears, mouth, tongue, teeth, belly, hands, feet, and hiney (your dada taught you that one!!!)
You roar when asked what a lion says. You say "woof woof" when asked what a dog says. You can do the monkey sound and a high pitched "meow" for a cat.
You point your fingers at me all the time and say "no no no no no"
Your favorite shows are Miss Spider's Sunnypatch Friends, Elmo, Sponge Bob, Baby Einstein, Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba, Sid the Science Kid, Word World, and Wonder Pets.

Bailey - You love to eat. I could watch you eat for days because you savor every single bite! You never fill up. You will eat anything that I hand you and lots of things that I don't give you that I have to take away from you..ha! You love to give me kisses! I wish you would quit biting your sissy!!!!!

Braelyn - You have become a very picky eater! You will mostly only eat noodles right now. Your favorite is mac and cheese and pumpkin pasta. Usually your sisser eats her plate and half of yours!!!! You come up to me every couple of minutes while we are playing and hug me. Momma loves it:) You have so many bite marks on you from sisser. You usually get her back though by hitting her which I wish you would quit:)
