Trip to Dallas

Twain had a conference in Dallas. Usually his conferences are not within driving distance so the girls and I decided to tag along on this trip. They haven't spent the night in a motel since they were little so this was a new experience for them. They had so much fun. We took them swimming for their first time so then they thought they should be able to get in any water they saw which led to a huge fit from Braelyn when I wouldn't let her get in the gold fish pond in the hotel lobby:) The conference hosts invited us to join them for a catered dinner that night even though we weren't part of the group. If you can imagine all these older researchers and college professors sipping on their tea and dining at a quiet meal and then their is our table with the two one year olds with chocolate cake all over their face!!!!

Braelyn and Bailey amaze me so much every day. They are starting to try to do what we do which sometimes is quite hilarious. They have learned to do the sound of the dog dogs and say "woof woof". They pick up our cell phones and put them to their ears like they are talking to someone. I was getting on to Bailey today and pointed my finger at her and Braelyn turned to her and pointed her two fingers at her. Each day is an adventure and I am thankful that we are blessed with both of them and I have the opportunity to stay home and experience all of the little things that they do. Here are a few pictures of our trip!
